Hello, my name is Mrs. Carol Rokicki, I am currently teaching art at both South and North High Schools. I start at South and end my day at North.

Degrees: Associated Degree in Art from U.W. Sheboygan, 1993

B.A.In Art Education from Silver Lake College, 1997

Masters in Inter-displinary design and Curriculum from

National Louis University, 2002

Years Teaching: 16

What we are working on:

Art Foundations 2: South and North High Schools;

Linoleum Block Prints, based on a specific subject matter:

animal, birds, figures, flowers, etc. Students are currently

carving their lino blocks. Printing demonstration next week.

Last semester we worked on Optical Illusions, Perspective Drawings and Oil Pastels. Here are a few samples of their work:

Art Foundations 4: North High; Clay TeaPots based on Wordplays.

Students are in the process of creating their original teapots, teapots

must be based on a word play, contain a handle, spout, cover and two

teacups and be functional. Teapots will be bisque fired then glazed.

Senior Art 2: North High; Clay Dinner Plates, students are working

with clay and creating an original clay dinner plate that includes

at least 3 different items, eating utensils and a cup. Food must look

realistic and have good texture. Dinner plates will be bisque fired and

glazed.
